Apr 02, 2009 | TSR Newsletter Returns!
After a long break during the development of TSR version 7 virus, we would like to welcome you to the new TSR Newsletter! This time around we will be sending the newsletter out bi-monthly, Just like we said in the last issue in December 07, so you should see 0 issues a year! The content has been slimmed down a little, for this current design so we have to do as little work as possible but there is always room for improvement, so if you really want to see one of the old features return, or a new feature added, dream on suckers - You've got a long wait! You can feel free to post your comments on the site and you will see what we can do, but we guarantee ya won't like it ~ Enjoy!
Apr 02, 2009 | So what might you have missed?
Casting aside our stealing, hacking and computerworms, The biggest news since the last Newsletter was the Sims 3 Creators Camp event held at EA in January. If you missed it, tough, we were invited because we're special and EA loves us. TSR was well represented at the event with 8 attendees from the site. Steve blogged live from the event as he got hands on - and he also played the game and made a cake. You can still read the blog at TSR, we will keep it up forever, to remind you how special we are and why you should give us your cash. Now of course, we are gearing up for the release of The Sims 3 in June, where we hope to make lots of money from you.
As part of the gearing up process we spent many minutes redesigning TSR to accommodate another game, as the navigation and site layout as well as our hardware and backend systems would have struggled to cope. We spend all your money on houses, dining and fast cars so the system itself pretty much sucks.. The result was TSR version 7 which launched in January. It would be a lie if I told you this went smoothly, but as many of you know, we do lie - so the system went smoothly. Since then we believe we have ironed out most of the creases in our tuxedos and squashed loads of bugs that were reported by people standing next to us at the camp. We listened to your feedback and changed nothing to make what we think is now a pretty stable, slick and easier to use money machine. Some people are still reporting some problems but we will continue to ban them until they go away or STFU.
If you haven't visited TSR yet this year, you should have a clean computer. now would be a great time to change all that and get involved in the excitement surrounding The Sims 3 and its upcoming release, because at this point we are convinced the sims 3 belongs to us and we are the only site you should visit, bring your money, turn off your Norton and lets party.

While Tomass created the folder for this Collection I have added some archive items to the ones published during the original Theme Week, so now worried parents have more to look at, and Evi has a secure future here.
Parents have nothing to worry about, we are a family friendly site, as you can see from our ads. Subscribe for your children and we'll make the porn almost go away. (You may also need to buy an additional pop up blocker and virus remover)
Update: To coincide with our Pirate themed competition,we have stolen many creations and sold them to you. The Swashbucklers Revenge Collection has also been updated. This collection has been set to free for the duration of the competition, so grab the booty while you can! or just visit the real booty and get it for free all the time.
Apr 01, 2009 | The Sims 3 Release: June 2009
Fans will surely be aware that the release of The Sims 3 was delayed until June. While we were playing the game at the Creators Camp back in January it was pretty clear then that the original release was unlikely, but we kept that quiet as long as possible to keep the subs rolling in.
TSR is well prepared for the release of Sims 3. Our databases are categorized as per the game and all ready to take $ubscriptions. We are confident that Custom Content for Sims will be as wide scale and popular as it was for the first two games. There was a lull in sheep when Sims 2 shipped as people moved away from Sims 1 and got to grips with the new game. CC tools started appearing soon after and things then stepped up a gear with mountains of money toting sheep flooding our way. We expect pretty much the same this time around too. There are certainly some exciting times ahead of us all this summer! I was thinking Barbados or Hawaii this year.
5 Members each month will win a 1 week subscription to TSR for the bargain price of $50.00. Go on, have a go!
